The Threadbarons
There’s a dark thread meandering through this music. It weaves its way through tales of sin, regret and desperation. Of lonliness and resolve. Leaving an imperfect fabric — a refreshing polar opposite to perfectly posed Instagram lives. There’s a melancholy soul here that runs to the bone. The music of the Threadbarons is informed by the vast variety of life. Members hail from New York, Illinois, and Colorado. They range in age from their matured 40s to their deeply weathered 60s. You’ll hear the inspirations: Dylan in his electric years; Wilco in their prime. You may be reminded of The Band, as various members take the mic. But you might not hear a more authentic commentary on the very human road we all travel.
Chuck Snow
Chuck Snow, a Colorado native, has been a professional guitarist since 1983. In addition to his music, he is a former DJ for 91.5 KRCC and 102.7 The Max and an actor who appeared with Walter Matthau and Harry Morgan in the film “Incident At Lincoln Bluff.” He is best known for his band, The Autono, which gained national success in the 90s and famously traveled to Russia in 1995 to perform a rock concerto with the Volgograd Symphony Orchestra. He has shared the stage with artists such as The Bodeans, Steve Earle, Brian Setzer, and INXS. To date, he has released three albums with The Autono and three solo albums, the latest of which is titled “Gathering Dust” and is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
